2. In short

Ictus does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it does not connect to any server operated by us or by third parties.

3. Data stored on your device

Ictus remembers your last tempo and beat pattern so the app opens where you left off. This information is stored only on your device and never leaves it, except as part of a device backup you make yourself, such as iCloud Backup, which is governed by Apple's terms. Deleting the app deletes this information.

4. Permissions

Ictus does not access your microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos or any other personal information on your device.

5. Apple

Ictus is distributed through the App Store. Apple processes data related to your purchase and download under its own privacy policy, available at apple.com/legal/privacy. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash reports and usage statistics that do not identify you.

6. This website

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 Pine Street, Suite 701, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA). When you visit it, Vercel records technically necessary server logs containing your browser type, operating system, referrer, IP address and the time of access. This data is processed solely to operate the website and diagnose errors. Vercel is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. The website uses no cookies and no tracking.

7. Contacting us

If you contact us through the support form on this website, the data you enter (email address and message) is sent to our server and delivered to us as an email through the email service Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., 2261 Market Street #5039, San Francisco, CA 94114, USA). Resend processes this data solely on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Resend is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply in addition. For more information, see resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

If you contact us by email, the information you send (such as your name, email address and message) is stored.

Our mailbox is provided through the Spacemail service of Spaceship, Inc. (4600 East Washington Street, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85034, USA). In both cases, Spaceship processes your message solely on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. In both cases, we use your data only to answer your request and delete it once your request has been resolved. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.

8. Children

Ictus is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise these rights, write to office@nuclis.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).

This privacy policy is effective as of September 2026. If it changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
